Despite its title, this blog is for all of the teachers, friends, and family members who have expressed interest in hearing about my adventures across The Pond. Its name pays homage to how it began, which is a straightforward story. When I told my close friend Margaret I’d be spending the semester in London, she replied sternly with, “Well, you’d better tell me about it everyday.” For those of you who don’t know Margaret, she is best described by the words of Shakespeare: “… though she be but little, she is fierce” (MND, III.ii.339). So under threat, I agreed to document daily life abroad.
Thus, though its title may imply otherwise, this blog is for everyone. Please feel free to follow and comment, and update me in turn about what is happening in the homeland. Cheerio!
